Starter Guide

The first thing that all new Infinite Leaftide Players should understand is that this is not an End-of-Retail server and that a good amount of content has been added to provide challenging and fun gameplay opportunities beyond the base game. there is no level or enlightenment cap allowing for infinite character growth. Character Creation

On Infinite Leaftide there are a couple of considerations to take into account when starting a character beyond those of a retail server.

First, the Old Man WIllow starter quest line is stared in Shoushi as such it is recommended that all new players set Shoushi as their starter city.

Finally, Inifinite Leaftide has a Quest Bonus(QB) system which increases the XP and Luminance gained by all actions based on the number of Quest Bonus stamps you have collected.

These stamps will show up in chat and look similar to You've stamped OldManWillowStart!!.

Each QB stamp earned increases your bonus and you can view how many stamps you have earned by typing /qb additionally you can see your bonuses from all sources using the command /bonus again, see Custom Functionality on Infinite Leaftide for more detailed information on these systems.

The Quest Bonus system comes into play when you get to the tutorial area because there are QB stamps available inside the tutorial area that you cannot access again after leaving.

(Quest Bonus is account wide so you can get these stamps by starting another character and completing the tasks).

I've completed the tutorial, what now?

• Hand your path warden token to the path warden and open the chest behind him to collect and equip the 5% increased XP trinket.
• Complete the Old Man WIllow quest line from the large golem near the path warden. Do pay attention to what they are telling you this is a tutorial of the custom systems on the server. It additionally provides you with a great set of items to get you started.
• (optional) Reach out in general chat. Vassals are in high demand and most players are more than happy to help you get started for the opportunity to have another person on the team.
• Get your spells from the trainers in Arwic.

• Start getting your Augmentation gems (see Below)
• Complete the Facility hub for levels and QB
• Begin working your way though the # Custom Dungeons on Infinite Leaftide and their associated # Custom_Quests/Areas_on_Infinite_Leaftide#Kill_Tasks
• Raise your character up via Gem Augmentation and Enlightenment's
• Run quests for Quest Bonus and equiptment(See notes below)

Augmentation Gems

Augmentation gems are that same as in retail and still provide a great deal of benefits.

Nalicana Augmentation Gem

Note: It is most efficient to complete this directly after completing Custom_Quests/Areas_on_Infinite_Leaftide#Bloodstone_Excavation_(Boat) as you will already be at Asheron's castle.

Use your Abandoned Mines portal gem (10 MMD Purchase) to get to the subway, then run straight into the AC Storage Portal. Then use the Asheron's Castle portal device in the room to the east. Inside Asheron's Castle locate the Token of Augmentation Gem on the table in the far South-East corner and hand it to Nalicana to exchange 100,000 luminance for one Blank Augmentation Gem. (2 Day timer)

Sir Bellas Augmentation Gem

Use your Abandoned Mines Portal Gem (10 MMD Purchase) to get to the subway then go forward and turn into the first room on the right. Take the portal to the Augmentation Realm Main Level. Jump down run to the end and kill Sir Bellas to acquire a Blank Augmentation gem. (2 Day timer)

Luminance Gambling

A great way to get your Augmentation gems quickly is to take the crater portal in subway and go into the Night Club inside you will find game masters that will allow you to gamble using luminance and one of the possible winnings is a blank augmentation gem. (use a vtank route to make this easier.)

Collect your Stipends

Speak to Monroe in Arwic or the marketplace to receive a Stipend every other day. It's recommended to go ahead and check him daily so you do not miss a day. (2 Day timer)

Gaerland Quest QB farming

There is a ton of QB to be gatheres here as there is a different stamp for each riddle, riddle failure, and each weapon.

From Town Network take the Eastham portal. from the drop run West-NorthWest past the tent and into the small underground room at 17.1N, 63.0E Enter the Citadel Library Portal. Turn to face South-West. Take the staircase directly in front of you and follow it up to the portals above. Enter the Prismatic Devastation portal. Run to the end of the dungeon (its very linear) and kill Gaerland and enter the portal that spawns when he dies. Run to the end and use Gaerlan's Phylacteric Prison.

T'thuun (Books)

This is the easiest and fastest daily quest that rewards enlightenment tokens.

Travel to Eastham via the town network. Run to the Patriarchs Valley portal at 17.6N, 63.5E. From the drop jump into the valley directly ahead. and run to the portals to the West, North, and East. Each portal will take you to a dungeon that is a spiral to the left. NASCAR your way to the top of the dungeon and kill the guy at the top. each one drops a book. recall one more time and hand one of the books to Captain Tulmada. the other 2 will be automatically removed from your inventory and it will begin the T'thuun event. jump back into the pit and run to the middle and kill each of the humanoid spawns. upon completion, Timada will appear next to you. Speak to them to receive your reward.

Saving Asheron

This quest requires the completion of a quest chain to get where it's easy to do daily, but it doesn't require any augmentations to complete and is a decent entry into daily enlightenment tokens.
