* It is one of several [[Portal Nexus Dungeons]].
* To get to the bottom, cross the room to the passage across from the exit portal, and wind your way down the spiral counter clockwise.
* The Surface portal exit is just NW of [[Arwic]].
* Back in the days, the (now removed) locked door on the passage down was one of the reasons a character would want to train lockpick.
* [[Abandoned Mines Portal Sending Gem]]s are one of the possible rewards of the [[Gift Box Quest]].
