Together with Niarltah, the leader of the Renegade Tumerok, he undertook many activities, including the siege on Fort Tethana<ref>2003/08 Into the Darkness - Teaser</ref><ref>2003/07 A Swelling Tide - A Note</ref> and the construction of the Renegade Fortress that should have served as their first true foothold on Dereth.<ref>2004/05 Mired Hearts - Fortress Construction</ref> Since they considered their two tribes together still too weak to reach the goal of defeating the Isparians<ref>2003/12 Waking from the Abyss - Reawakening on Maggies Site</ref>, they were searching for a third party to cooperate with against the Isparians, and amongst others, were trying to track down Aerbax.<ref>2004/05 Mired Hearts - Aerbax's Valley</ref>

When the Burun came to Dereth, the Renegades first adapted a "wait and see" attitude, hoping that the Isparians would focus on the Burun invasion instead of the Renegade activities.<ref>2004/06 Pillars Made of Sand - Teaser</ref> They decided however, to cooperate with the Burun <ref>2004/05 Mired Hearts - Teaser</ref><ref>2004/05 Mired Hearts - Mutual Assistance Pact</ref> and Niarltah gave one of his Commanders, Commander Kamenua the order to contact the Burun.<ref>2004/05 Mired Hearts - Orders to Contact the Burun</ref>

The Burun named Torgluuk turned on Niarltah and Muldaveus, the leaders of the Tumerok and Lugian Renegades. Since that day, their whereabouts were unknown.<ref name=FriendLttP>2005/08 Friend and Foe - Letter to the Players</ref> It seemed that Torgluuk killed them.<ref>2004/11 On Bended Knee - Teaser</ref> because they let his brother, Morgluuk, be killed.<ref>2004/10 All That They Survey - Rollout Article</ref> However, there were several sightings of Muldaveus afterwards.<ref>2005/08 - Friend and Foe - Muldaveus Sightings</ref><ref>2005/08 - Friend and Foe - Last Known Location of Muldaveus</ref>
